Tax relief measures for home and vehicle repairs have been introduced to help alleviate the financial burden of repairing property damaged by flooding. For the period from August 16 to December 31, 2024, taxpayers may benefit as follows:

1. Tax relief for home repairs:

Taxpayers (excluding ordinary partnerships or groups of persons) may claim a tax deduction for actual home repair expenses incurred between August 16 and December 31, 2024, up to a total maximum of 100,000 baht. The damaged property must be located in an area officially declared by the government as a disaster-affected zone or an emergency disaster relief zone.

2. Tax relief for vehicle repairs:

Taxpayers (excluding ordinary partnerships or groups of persons) may claim a tax deduction for actual vehicle repair expenses incurred between August 16 and December 31, 2024, up to a total maximum of 30,000 baht. The damaged vehicle must be located in an area officially declared by the government as a disaster-affected zone or an emergency disaster relief zone.
